Description

Wompoo Cottage is located in beautiful Byfield. Set amongst natural bush and rainforest, the cottage is three bedrooms and fully self contained. This is a stand alone building where privacy and relaxation are at a premium. You will not see any neighbours from the Wompoo Cottage.

It is approximately 40 kilometres from Yeppoon and around 80 kilometres from Rockhampton. It is a short drive to the National Parks where there are numerous bush walks and you can also take a four wheel drive trip to the famous Five Rocks.

They have Ferns Restaurant and Nobs Creek Pottery within a couple of kilometres and the local Byfield store has all of the basic supplies plus take away food and drinks. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place to go.

Privacy and peaceful surroundings are the most appealing qualities of Wompoo Cottage. If you are looking for a secluded, cosy, romantic, break, Wompoo Cottage is the place to be. This is a free standing cottage with no other cabins or houses around. Very private and quiet.

How To Get There:
Drive from Rockhampton towards Yeppoon, then take the Byfield bypass turnoff before reaching Yeppoon. Follow the bypass road signage to Byfield Road and continue until you reach 2408 Byfield Road. Approximately two kilometres past the Byfield store and School on the right. If leaving from Yeppoon, simply follow signs to Byfield until you reach 2408 Byfield Road.

Cottage

Three bedroom self contained cottage with two queen size beds and two single beds.

Whether you are on your own or with a group, the cottage is completely yours. They do not book rooms to multiple groups. Your privacy is very important to them.
