The retreats are finished to a very high degree of comfort with absolute attention to detail. Unique features of the accommodation include a well equipped al fresco kitchen situated on the verandah overlooking the mountains and an indoor/outdoor shower.
The property boasts a range of habitats including a beautiful rainforest walk, a permanent freshwater creek offering numerous swimming holes, which runs right through the property, wallabies, platypus and other marsupials together with an abundance of birdlife. A bush barbecue facility on the edge of the creek is the perfect place in which to relax and watch the sun go down.

How To Get There
By car from Cairns International Airport. Travel north on the Captain Cook Highway, past the Port Douglas turn-off. Take the left turn signposted Mt Molloy. This takes you up a mountain range. Sweetwater Lodge is approximately 10 minutes drive from the top of the range on on the right hand side. (You will pass the school turn off situated on the left, drive over Bushy Creek and you will go around several bends before coming into a straight part of the road). Sweetwater is at the end of the straight on the right hand side just before Hunter's Creek, number 2472.
Helicopter access is also available.

King Bedroom Suite
Each lodge consists of a spacious entry area with desk and chair, suitcase set down, fridge and tea and coffee facilities. The en-suite indoor/outdoor bathroom is situated to the left of the entry consisting of indoor/outdoor shower, bath, toilet and vanity. Hairdryer and bathroom amenities also supplied. Beyond the entry area is the king bed which then leads into the lounge area consisting large corner lounge suite, coffee table, LCD television, DVD player and wood burning fireplace. The al fresco kitchen is situated on the verandah to the right of the lounge area and includes table and chairs, well-equipped kitchen with barbecue and four burner cooktop.
