Description
Straddie Bungalows ""where wild dolphins play"", provides thatched roof bungalows on two acres of beautiful waterfront located at Amity Point, North Stradbroke Island. Each Bungalow has a thatched bamboo interior and is fully self contained, with its own deck and private barbecue and provides some of the most unique accommodation in Queensland. Set amongst a mix of palms and natural bush showcasing our resident koalas and abundant bird life there is also a resort pool with three separate beach areas, waterfall and cave, a children's playground, an additional barbecue at the waterfront and a private jetty for fishing, diving, snorkelling and where the local dolphins visit us daily. There is also wheelchair accommodation.

Cancellation Policy
There is a minimum one nights accommodation deposit when booking. If booking is cancelled and a further booking is made, the deposit is refunded less a 10 per cent administration fee. If no further booking is received then there will be no refund of the deposit.
General Comments
At Straddie Bungalows, "where wild dolphins play", you can come up close and personal with the dolphins who visit the private jetty and with koalas in the towering trees. The bungalows are well spaced so that visitors can enjoy the setting with maximum privacy.
How To Get There
Follow the signs to Cleveland, then follow signs to Toondah Harbour (end of Middle Street). Sea Stradbroke provides vehicular ferry services from Cleveland to Stradbroke Island. A water taxi also leaves from Cleveland to Stradbroke Island. Follow the signs to Amity Point. When you come in to Amity you will see the shop on the left hand side in the main street. Go past the shop about 500 metres and you will see the thatched sign. Straddie Bungalows are tucked away opposite the library and the hall. On arrival please proceed to the thatched gatehouse and ring the intercom to contact the office.
Lorikeet Lodge
Lorikeet Lodge is a self-contained thatched roof bungalow with a large balcony that sleeps six people. It contains one queen bed, one set of bunks and one fold-out sofa. It also offers disabled facilities with wheelchair access, roll-in shower and grab rails, with fold down set.

Possum Lodge
Possum Lodge is a self-contained two bedroom thatched roof bungalow in a rainforest setting. It has one queen bed, one set of bunks and one single bed and one fold-out sofa and can sleep up to seven guests. Wombat Lodge
Wombat Lodge is a self-contained log cabin with an undercover gas barbecue. It is adjacent to the children's playground. There is a separate shower and toilet external to the cabin and wheelchair access. It contains one queen bed, to sets of bunks, one fold-out sofa and one futon, undercover patio and parking for two vehicles. It can sleep up to eight guests.
