Description
Springbrook Lyrebird Retreat's luxury cabins and cottages provide privacy and seclusion for couples in a romantic setting deep in subtropical rainforest. Each cabin and cottage has a deck extending into the forest providing an outdoor setting with a barbecue. A short drive takes you to World Heritage Rainforests in Springbrook National Park with its many walking track, waterfalls and spectacular lookouts. Or you may choose to enjoy the village atmosphere and visit the cafes, craft shops or the famous Fudge Shop. But the setting is so beautiful and peaceful, you may prefer to simply relax in your cabin or cottage in luxurious seclusion surrounded by nature.

General Comments
Springbrook Lyrebird Retreat is owned by the Australian Rainforest Conservation Society Inc., a non-government, non-profit association. All profits are used towards restoration of rainforest at Springbrook.
How To Get There
Springbrook Lyrebird Retreat is 45 minutes from the Gold Coast and 90 minutes from Brisbane.
Travel to Springbrook from the north via Mudgeeraba (M1 Motorway, Exit 79) or via Nerang (Exit 69) along the Nerang-Murwillumbah Road to the turn-off to Springbrook or from the south via Mudgeeraba (Exit 80).
The two routes meet at the northern end of Springbrook Plateau. Follow Springbrook Road for about eight kilometres, turn right at Repeater Station Road (sign to Best of All Lookout), travel 750 metres to the junction with Lyrebird Ridge Road, turn right and the entrance is 50 metres on the left.
