Disabled:
Some facilities are available for guests with a disability. They have wheelchair access from the street and carpark. The showers are large enough to accommodate some disabled access, but do not have support handrails or other facilities.
Cancellation Policy
If a booking is cancelled, the deposit is only refunded if 28 days notice is given in high season and the apartment re-let for the entire duration. 14 days notice is required at other times (the apartment doesn't have to be re-let). An administration fee of AUD50 will be charged on all cancellations. There is no refund for early departure. For a 'no-show', if the first night's accommodation is more than the forfeited deposit, the balance will be taken from the credit card used to secure the booking.
General Comments
On The Beach Resort Bribie Island boasts a quiet village location with shops, cafes and a patrolled surf beach at your doorstep. The all-weather golf course, just a short drive away, welcomes social players of all levels and the wonders of four wheel drive driving along the National Park beach (permit required) are close at hand.
How To Get There
By road take the Bruce Highway north out of Brisbane following signs for the Sunshine Coast. Travel for around 47 kilometres north and take the Bribie Island exit. Bribie Island is approximately 20 kilometres from the highway across the bridge. Follow the signs to Woorim Surf Beach and they are adjacent to the park and opposite the shops. Enter Woorim as the destination in a GPS, not Bribie Island, please!
By air, the Brisbane Airport is less than one hour from Bribie Island. Transfers from the Airport are available for door to airport or vice versa. Public transport is also available. Take the Airtrain from the Airport to Eagle Junction. Change trains to Caboolture station then catch the bus from the station to Bribie Island. The Woorim North Street bus stop is in front of On The Beach Resort Bribie Island.
