Julatten Birdlovers Cottage is a tropical retreat situated in the hinterland west of Port Douglas, North Queensland. Tropical rainforest adjoins the property and the area is popular amongst birdwatchers and people who appreciate the rain forest habitat with its diverse flora and fauna. The cottage is a short walk to Mount Lewis Road which is the access to the World Heritage Listed rainforest.

The cottage is fully self contained with reverse cycle air conditioning and wireless internet access. The property is adjacent to the Highlander Tavern which provides good value meals and offers a convivial atmosphere. The cottage is ideal for a couple who wish to indulge in bird watching, bush walking or relax in this well appointed , cozy, tropical retreat. The cottage is well situated being only 35 minutes drive to Port Douglas, 20 minutes to Mossman and five minutes drive to Mount Molloy to link up with the Peninsular Development Road to Cape York.

How To Get There:
The cottage is located 17.44 kilometres from the turn-off to Mount Molloy along the Mossman-Mount Molloy Road. The entrance to the cottage is on the right hand side of the road immediately before the turn-off to Mount Lewis Road.
