Daintree Mountain View Retreat and Vanilla Beans offers a very private, spacious, homely, self-contained, family friendly two bedroom, solar-powered home for your Daintree Rainforest experience. This very private one and a half hectare property backs onto the beautiful, pristine mountain stream Hutchinson Creek where, if you are lucky, you may get to share your private swimming hole with a cassowary coming down for a cool drink. The retreat adjoins World Heritage Listed rainforest and overlooks the ever changing majestic Alexandra Mountain range, and is shadowed by the third highest mountain peak in Queensland, Thornton Peak. The retreat is located a short five minute drive to beautiful Cow Bay and the Thornton Beaches, and only two hours drive north of Cairns. Your hosts live next door and are only too happy to make your stay both memorable and enjoyable in this very special part of the Daintree Rainforest Coast in Tropical Far North Queensland.

Cancellation Information:
A deposit of 50 per cent is required within seven days of booking payable by cheque, money order or a direct transfer to the operator's account, and the balance is to be paid by cash on arrival. Cancellation more than 30 days prior to arrival will attract a 20 per cent cancellation fee. Less than 30 days but more than seven days prior to arrival will attract a 30 per cent cancellation fee. Cancellation seven days or less prior to arrival will attract a cancellation of the deposit paid unless the property can be re-booked.

How To Get There:
Daintree Mountain View Holiday Retreat is located approximately two hours drive north of Cairns. Travelling north of Mossman, follow the signs to the Daintree River Ferry crossing. The property is approximately 14 kilometres north of the river crossing. After you cross the first bridged creek which is Hutchison Creek, take the next road to the left.

Daintree Mountain View Retreat offers one queen bed in main bedroom and two single beds in second bedroom and a double futon in lounge room as well as a lounge suite. All Linen is supplied.
