Experience excellent birdwatching from the verandah of you lodge. Common sightings include: Victoria Rifle Birds, Spotted Cat Birds, Tooth-billed Bower Birds, Grey-headed Robins, Orange-footed Jungle Fowls, Parrots, Fruit Pigeons, Whipbirds and a great many other bird species, while red Boobooks and Lesser Sooty Owls can be heard at night.

Spotlighting gear is also available for nocturnal animal viewing. A laundry service is available. A relaxing 10 metre heated pool and spa.

General Comments
Chambers Wildlife Rainforest Lodges is an ideal base for wildlife filming and photography, entomology collecting for rare rainforest insects and platypus viewing. Ideal for wildlife film crews, birdwatching tours and entomologists.
How To Get There
Self-drive guests starting from Cairns should drive south to Gordonvale, then travel up the Gillies Highway on to the Atherton Tablelands. Follow the road signs to Lake Eacham. When you are looking at the waterfront at Lake Eacham, drive to the left and Chambers Wildlife Rainforest Lodges on Eacham Close is the first possible turn on the left hand side.
The Lodge is a 700 metre scenic drive through the rainforest from the front gate. The drive of approximately 70 kilometres from Cairns will take around 1.25 hours. Maps and directions can be found on their website.
