Peaceful, charming and cosy, this two bedroom cottage is a graceful mix of country charm and modern aesthetics. This fully renovated 1917 cottage is the perfect place to unwind all the senses, whether for an intimate romantic getaway for two or a magical weekend with close friends or family, enjoying all that the famous Granite Belt has to offer.

The very private new, one bedroom cottage 'Casita del Bosque' (opened in April 2007) is set amongst the bush with spectacular views of the hills surrounding the property. It combines simplicity and practicality of modern constructions while still maintaining its country roots. It is a perfect romantic getaway. The cottage is hidden among the forest and is not visible from the other cottage on the property, allowing guests to enjoy the peaceful and private surroundings.

Both cottages are set on 44 acres, part natural bushland, part young vineyard. 'Casita de Campo', Spanish for little country house and 'Casita del Bosque', Spanish for little house in the bush, have all the charm of a bygone era with modern comforts.

How To Get There:
From Brisbane, drive to Stanthorpe via the Cunningham Highway and New England Highway. Bypass the Stanthorpe township and look for the sign for Whiskey Gully Road on the left hand side. Drive a further three kilometres. Casita de Campo is located on the left side across the road from the Uniting Church.

Casita Del Bosque

A lot of thought was given to the decor of Casita Del Bosque and a lot of hours of work to restore its period furniture. The style could be described as Old French Provincial with a touch of contemporary Australian.

This one bedroom cottage has a beautiful crystal chandelier in the bedroom and a marble double spa en suite. From the spa or the spacious timber deck, guests can enjoy the spectacular views of the valley below.
