The Blue Ocean View Beach House is a privately owned, self-contained and well appointed house situated on the hill within the Tangalooma Island Resort on Moreton Island. Guests have use of the many resort facilities and can participate in a variety fun, educational and/or energetic activities. Go for a quad bike ride, sand toboggan, whale watch cruise, marine discovery cruise, parasail, ride a jet ski, swim, hike in Moreton Island National Park, hand feed Tangalooma Dolphins, these are just some of the many activities that you can enjoy.

However if you just wish to take it easy then the Blue Beach House is in the perfect position to put one's feet up and enjoy the cool breezes and gorgeous panorama of Moreton Bay and Moreton Island. You'll see many ships and yachts meandering through Moreton Bay and even spot whales seeking shelter in the bay. It is a truly spectacular view. The mysterious shipwrecks of Moreton Island are also in full view from the deck, these wrecks are a fantastic place to snorkel and fish. You could not wish for anything more in this unique, beautiful bay side paradise, where relaxing is easy and the word stress does not exist.

Restrictions:
Guests of the Blue Ocean View Beach House have full access to the Tangalooma Island Resort facilities and activities including the wonderful whale watch and marine discovery cruise plus participation in the nightly dolphin feeding at the resort jetty.

How To Get There:
If you are travelling over with a four wheel drive vehicle then the MiCat Passenger and Vehicle Ferry, drops off at Tangalooma Wrecks, is the vessel to book. You can drive your vehicle around and park at the front of the Blue Beach House. If you are travelling over without a vehicle then the Tangalooma Flyer Ferry, drops off at the Tangalooma Resort Jetty, is the vessel to travel on. They will organise for a resort shuttle bus to pick you up at the end of the jetty. Moreton Island can also be reached via water taxi and helicopter. Toyota Landcruiser four wheel drive vehicles can be hired at a daily rate from the Tangalooma Island Resort. Moreton Island is a National Park and does not have any sealed roads.

Beach House

The house features a large lounge room with leather lounge and dining table, flat screen television, DVD Player and mp3 stereo. The wrap around deck looks out to Moreton Bay has a gas barbecue and seating for eight.

The kitchen is very well appointed.

The main bedroom has a queen size bed, flat screen television and DVD and en suite. The second bedroom can be configured to accommodate either two large single beds or king size bed, and also contains two trundles. The third bedroom can be configured to accommodate two large singles or king size bed. The family room has two click out style double beds, flat screen television, DVD Player and Xbox. A portable cot and highchair are available for your convenience.
