There are ten river crossings within the gorge to get to Adjinbilly. Access is by Four Wheel Drive only! Adjinbilly Rainforest Retreat Cabins offer a service where you can leave your car on a private property next to a farmhouse and they will bring you in and out again in their Four Wheel Drive - you get a short guided tour, and experience crossing through the river nine times. Adjinbilly Rainforest Retreat Cabins are very secluded and private and offer absolute peace and tranquility. Even though they are so isolated, they are only nine kilometres from an excellent supermarket - also a newsagent, takeaways, fuel supplies, hotel and more in the township of Killarney!
Walking along the gorge road often provides sightings of platypus. The cliffs and mountains along the gorge road are spectacular.
There are great drives to spectacular sights such as Queen Mary Falls and other waterfalls, Carrs Lookout and the many spectacular features of the border ranges and the scenic rim. It is only 20 minutes from the cabins to the New South Wales border and the Clarence River catchment, while the Stanthorpe wineries are within an easy day trip. Guests often visit the national parks as a day drive.

How To Get There:
From Killarney take Brosnans Road and approximately nine kilometres to Adjinbilly Road. You will cross the Condamine River 10 times and travel on a dirt road to reach Adjinbilly.
You can also come up from Boonah. Although there are only four river crossings from this end to Adjinbilly, the road is rougher from this end.

Adjinbilly Rainforest Retreat Cabins offer open plan, self contained cabins, with semi enclosed sleeping loft accessed via internal ladder. There is a queen size bed downstairs and a single and a double mattress upstairs (doonas and blankets supplied for all). Gas stove, gas hot water, gas fridge, internal toilet, barbecue on balcony. Wood heater - wood supplied. You can choose linen supplied or you can bring your own (for a discount price). Cabins are set within the rainforest, and are separated so that you often feel you are the only people there. You can watch the fire in the wood heater at night from your bed and when you wake in the morning you are welcomed by the peaceful rainforest surrounding you. Ultimate 'camping' experience.
