A Pine Cottage is a two bedroom (plus sunroom) air-conditioned fisherman's/workers cottage only 60 metres to the waters edge in Wynnum, a waterfront suburb of Brisbane. Ideal location as a base while visiting Brisbane, only 25 minutes drive or train ride and you are in the city, an hour south to the bustling Gold Coast or an hour north to the Sunshine Coast to major tourist destinations.
Home again by the Bay to relax or maybe join a boat charter, whale watching or just relax and enjoy one of the many restaurants or waterfront.
Relax in the private outdoor established bush setting, with dinner sizzling on the barbecue, you could be forgiven if you think you had stepped back in time. Purposefully renovated to cater for your holiday and comfort. It is wheel chair accessible, with ramps and a suitable bathroom.

Children: Children are very welcome. The large back garden is flat and a great play area. On the esplanade, just 50 metres away, is a water adventure playground and the famous Wynnum Wading Pool. The house backyard is fully fenced for added privacy and a child gate on the deck is available for the toddlers if needed. A Pine Cottage caters for family groups so hope they have thought of everything! For wet days or when a quiet rest is due, pop the little ones in front of the Foxtel television to enjoy 24 hour cartoon channels. A children's play box and books are provided for indoor playing and peace and quiet.. A port-a-cot or cot are available on request, as are a high chair and baby seat.
Disabled: Access is available for guests with a disability. Wheel chair friendly with ramps and suitable bathroom.

Walk into the town of Wynnum or Manly to shops or catch a train elsewhere. On the magnificent esplanade is the Wynnum wading pool and children's adventure playground to keep the children busy. Such a picturesque setting, staying in this cottage you can't help but unwind in the relaxed atmosphere. Many eateries along the esplanade within easy walking distance from the house. Bring a fishing rod and try your luck! Welcome to Brisbane.
From the Airport take the Gateway Motorway south, take the second exit after the toll bridge (Wynnum). Follow along Wynnum Road to Preston Road to Worthing that turns into Pine Street. Continue to nearly at the waters edge and the house is on the left.
