The Boathouse Bed and Breakfast is set on the beachfront of sub-tropical Macleay Island in the pristine waters of the Moreton Bay Marine Park, amidst landscaped gardens offering you stunning water views and spectacular sunsets.

There are three luxurious queen-size bedrooms each with beautifully appointed ensuites. The fourth bedroom is adaptable with either a king-size bed or two singles. This room is disabled friendly with a huge ensuite. All rooms have private entrances leading to the verandahs and gardens.

Enjoy the peaceful communal guest lounge, dining area with kitchenette, barbecue and lots of private areas in the gardens to relax in. Breakfast area three course gourmet delight with special needs catered for.

Guests receive the complimentary use of sea kayaks, private jetty, fishing equipment, dinghy, bicycles, golf clubs and DVD/video library. Electronic Funds Transfer at Point of Sale and free jetty pick up available.

Cancellation Information:
On confirmation of booking a deposit of 30 per cent is required. This is fully refundable on cancellations with seven or more days notice. Cancellations with less than seven days notice forfeit the deposit.

How To Get There:
To arrive on Macleay Island you need to use a water taxi, vehicle barge or private boat. Redland Bay is the access point to the island. It is a small coastal town situated between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. It can be reached from Brisbane city by bus. Airport transfers can be arranged from Brisbane or Coolangatta airports. At Redland Bay the water taxi is located in Banana Street. The trip takes about 15 minutes and there is a free public carpark at the terminal. The car barge is located in Weinham Street. Bookings are essential. This relaxing trip takes about 40 minutes.

QE11 and Titanic Suites

These two suites are situated looking out on to the gardens with stunning water views from each. The QE11 is tastefully decorated in the soft colours of sand, perfect for a stay at the beach. The Titanic is in sage green tones making you feel at one with the gardens. Each of these rooms has a queen-size bed, large ensuite and doors opening to the verandah and garden areas.

The Cherry Venture looks out onto a mix of tropical and formal gardens. It has a private entrance onto the verandahs and is a combination of soft greens mixed with bright primary colours. It contains a queen-size bed and has it's own large ensuite.
