Daydream offers affordable luxury with 296 tastefully appointed rooms and suites, with stunning ocean or rainforest views.

Guests can indulge and pamper at the world-class Rejuvenation Spa. The refined elegance of this spectacular facility is reflected in 16 private rooms offering the latest in naturopathy, hydrotherapy, aromatherapy or reflexology to bring harmony to mind, body and soul.

Island activities including snorkelling, sail boarding, jet skiing, parasailing reef fishing and scuba diving or stay dry and play tennis, volleyball, badminton or Putt Your Way Around Australia on the themed mini-golf course.

Professional child care is available for children from six weeks to 12 years at the Skipper's Club. Younger guests adore the Jungle Jumble Kids Playground or watching the latest Hollywood blockbusters under the stars at the Outdoor Cinema.

Daydream Island is home to the Living Reef, one of the world's largest man-made living coral reef lagoons. Guests can get up close and personal by hand feeding resident stingrays, sharks and barramundi.

Cancellation Information:
Cancellation within 72 hours of arrival will incur a one night's cancellation fee. During peak season cancellations seven days or less will incur a fee equivalent to the first night's accommodation.

Lovers of food and wine can choose to dine at one of three licensed restaurants on Daydream Island Resort and Spa. Daydream's signature restaurant Mermaids, overlooks three stunning bronze life-size mermaid sculptures sitting atop a rocky outcrop on the shores of the Whitsunday Passage. Mermaids a la carte Restaurant offers a unique culinary experience where guests can feast on the freshest fish of the day caught straight from the sea to your plate. Reservations recommended. Families are well catered for too with buffet-style dining at Waterfalls Restaurant, casual a la carte at the Fishbowl Tavern or deli-style at the Boathouse Bakery. The Fish Bowl is a great escape for a game of pool, or a night of dancing. Also on the Island is Gilligan's Health Hut that provides a range of snacks including ice creams and smoothies.

How To Get There:
Daydream Island Resort and Spa is located in the heart of the Whitsundays and just 30 minutes by ferry from the mainland. It is remarkably accessible being serviced by two domestic airports, Great Barrier Reef Airport (HTI) and Whitsunday Coast Airport (PPP), with regular flights from most major cities.
You can also reach the resort from the bustling town of Airlie Beach where major bus lines, car hire chains, trains and transfer companies offer many alternatives. Once in the area, ferries and helicopters transfer guests to and from the island - where you can holiday to your heart's content or totally and truly experience the Whitsundays way of life.
