Australia's most exclusive resort, indulgent tropical private haven lying off the coast of Cairns. At Bedarra, guests can do as they wish, when they wish. A maximum of just 32 guests are accommodated in 16 secluded Villas, each hidden in the rainforest, only minutes from the beach.

On the balcony, guests can relax and contemplate the beauty and calm of this elegant retreat. The cuisine is exquisite. The tantalising menus change daily, with an emphasis on fresh seafood and exotic tropical produce. A popular lunch option is a romantic beach picnic with a gourmet hamper.

While the focus on Bedarra Island is on peace and relaxation, there are also many activities to enjoy, such as catamaran sailing, paddle skiing, fishing, snorkelling and diving day trips to the Great Barrier Reef, as well as motorised dinghies for exploring the island's picturesque, private beaches. Cancellation Information:
30 days - full refund of all monies paid where applicable. Within 15 to 29 prior to arrival, one nights accommodation will be charged, if 14 days or less prior to arrival, the room rate for all cancelled nights, ticket price on pre-booked day tours and any transfers.

How To Get There:
Regular flights are available from all major Australian capital cities to Cairns, with connecting flights to Dunk Island daily Qantas, Virgin Blue and Jetstar. The flight between Cairns and Dunk Island is operated by Hinterland Aviation and takes 45 minutes. This is followed by a 15 minute launch service to Bedarra. The launch meets all flights into Dunk Island. Water transfers can be arranged from the mainland township of Mission Beach.

Villa

Designed to blend in with the beauty of natural surroundings, each spacious villa is nestled into lush tropical rainforest, providing total privacy. Interiors are contemporary and comfortable with separate sleeping and living areas. Bathrooms, including deep bath, are oversized and well stocked with signature Bedarra bath treats.

Split level Villa are located on the hillside offering stunning views over Bedarra Bay, whilst the Double Storey Villas are situated close to the beachfront and central resort facilities and offer tree filtered water views.

The Point

Accessed by walking a private rainforest path, The Point is located in a superb elevated beachside position. The floor plan and room inclusions are similar to those of the Split Level Villa with design features maximising the panoramic views. The large outdoor deck, perfectly positioned to ensure complete privacy, features a luxurious daybed, sun lounges and a private plunge pool.

The Pavilions

The two Pavilions are set in exclusive, private locations and have spectacular views over Wedgerock Bay. The spacious sleeping area features a custom designed 'floating' bed with a separate oversized bathroom with shower and deep bath. An expansive and beautifully appointed living area with a bar stocked to your choice, a large screen television, video and work desk with telephone and computer. The large outdoor area and deck incorporates a private plunge pool, large sun lounges, a daybed and dining setting. Every afternoon Pavilion guests receive a delivery of ice and sunset canape plate.

Hillside Villa

Hillside Villas are situated in elevated locations close to the beachfront and are set just behind the central resort facilities and restaurant. Set into the lush tropical rainforest, each Villa offers filtered inhibited water views. The double storey layout provides a sleeping area and bathroom with separate bath at ground level and the upper level features a living area with comfortable seating, entertainment facilities, LCD television, Digital Video Disc, Bose Wave system with Ipod docking station, minibar and second toilet.
