Their top floor units offer extensive ocean views with the first floor units offering a relaxing beach setting through a thin bank of native trees. The Anchorage is just a short walk to the hotel, bowls club and shops. They are well equipped for conference groups with a conference room, adventure activities operator and in-house restaurant. Anchorage Beachfront Island Resort has a unique gift shop, art gallery and environmentally friendly electronic scooters for hire.

How To Get There
Whether travelling by car or on foot, you can easily get to the Anchorage on beautiful North Stradbroke Island by departing from the ferry terminal located in Emmett Drive, Cleveland (at end of Middle Street).
Travellers who are not bringing a vehicle, simply drive or take a taxi to Cleveland or use the Airtrain from the airport to Central Station. From Central Station hop on the Cleveland train line (Pink signage) and go to the Cleveland stop. From there, there are local buses to take you to the ferry terminal where you can hop on the Straddie Flyer Water Taxi which will bring you to North Stradbroke Island. The island bus service will be waiting to bring you to Anchorage's door.
If bringing a car, then Anchorage can take care of your travel on either of the two vehicle ferry companies that operate from Cleveland.
Local hints: It usually works out cheaper to go via taxi from the airport if there are two or more of you travelling together; and 2. As Anchorage buy in bulk, they can arrange the vehicle ferry at a discount price which they pass on to you.

Fully self-contained units with all except one having extensive ocean views from very large outdoor balconies. Units are of considerable size and usually sleep four but can easily be made to sleep six. All have full kitchen and laundry facilities and all cooking wares are supplied as well as crockery, cutlery and glassware. All Two Bedroom Units have modern 32 inch or bigger flatscreen televisions with built in DVD or Blu-Ray players.
