Ocean Breeze Units is a set of 17 two bedroom, fully self-contained and air-conditioned apartments only 200 metres from beautiful Queens Beach, Bowen in the beautiful Whitsundays, Queensland.

Away from main roads, set back from the street, it is a quiet location where you can enjoy the beautiful, arid, tropical weather of Bowen, the ""Climate Capital of Australia"". You are a short flat walk to the beach, golf course, bowling club, playgrounds, hotel and cinema and only five minutes from the centre of town.

The palm lined beach, expansive river estuary, ocean pool (summer season) and beachfront parklands are only a short walk away. Take the time to relax and enjoy the slow pace of provincial Queensland life surrounded by the idyllic picture postcard, award winning, tropical beaches of Bowen. And don't forget the fishing...it's great!!

Bowen is the only place on the Queensland coast where the Great Barrier Reef grows near the beach and from many you can snorkel directly onto untouched pristine coral reefs with little "" Nemo"" to large tropical reef fish. You can snorkel all day every day at no cost or arrange a scuba dive.. It is an experience not to be missed!

Alternatively enjoy a peaceful swim in their pool or relax on the sunlounges. Barbecue facilities are also available to entertain new found friends.
Be collected at the door to take trips via Airlie Beach (50 minutes away) to the fabulous Whitehaven Beach, the Great Barrier Reef or visit one of the 74 Whitsunday Islands where you can snorkel or scuba dive on the reef's magnificent coral. See the whales in season, enjoy tropical rainforest walks and wildlife or for the adventurous go on a crocodile spotting safari.

The boating, fishing and sailing opportunities in nearby Airlie Beach are unlimited in their options to visit the reef or the islands. The local sailing club is available to join in and crew a yacht during their regular weekly yachting activities on the Coral Sea.
Airport access is easy from the Whitsunday Coast Airport, at nearby Proserpine or also from Hamilton Island with an enjoyable boat trip to Airlie Beach. Car hire is also available if required in Bowen or in Airlie Beach or at the Whitsunday Coast Airport.

How To Get There:
Ocean Breeze Units are located in Marshall Street Queens Beach, Bowen. Driving from the north if you take the first exit into Bowen and as entering Bowen take the first exit left to Queens Beach along Mount Nutt Road. When you hit the roundabout turn left into Marshall Street and the Units are on the left hand side.
Driving from the south, follow the signs to the Beach Resorts and then to Queens Beach. Marshall Street is second left off the main roundabout at Queens Beach.
By air, you fly to the Whitsunday Coast Airport, just south of Proserpine and take a taxi or bus to Bowen which is about one hours drive north of the Airport. We are able to arrange transfers if you require them. You are able to hire cars to be at the airport by prior arrangement. Alternatively Bowen has inexpensive car hire by the day if required.

Please Note: The reception for this property is at Beachside Holiday Units 38 Horseshoe Bay Road Bowen. As you enter Bowen from either direction follow the signs to the Beach Resorts and Horseshoe Bay. You will drive along Horseshoe Bay road and stop at the Beachside Holiday Units which are on the beachfront on the left, to collect your Keys and be directed to the property.
You can come from the Whitsunday Coast Airport by taxi or bus which will bring you to the town centre or you may wish to hire a car.

Two Bedroom Apartment

The Two Bedroom Apartments are fully self-contained, fully furnished and re-furbished with air-conditioning and garden views from the apartment or balcony. Your apartment is only a short flat walk to the beautiful Queens Beach. Each apartment has a large bedroom with a queen sized bed and a second smaller bedroom with two single beds. Some apartments have two queen sized beds subject to availability. There is a large living room with full kitchen with utensils and equipment and a separate laundry area and bathroom. Each apartment has its own private balcony.
