Description

Murphy's Creek Escape is an exciting waterfront camping park 20 minutes from Toowoomba and one and a half hours from Brisbane. There are generous sized powered and un-powered sites and group camping areas all in a natural bush setting.

Take your time to explore the White Mountain National Park, take a dip at the new inland beach, barbecue or picnic, relax under a tree with a book, or cook a damper and spin a yarn around your own camp fire. Numerous bird species fill the air with their calls.

Murphy's Creek Escape is dog friendly.

Facilities include clean amenities (hot showers), camp kitchen / barbecue area, shop (stocks ice, gas, firewood, basic stores), washing machines and dryers.

Activities on site include bush walking, bird watching, four wheel driving, swimming, horse riding, orienteering, camping, painting, abseiling, and swimming.

There are numerous nearby attractions to keep you entertained!

Overlooking Murphy's Creek from an escarpment, luxuriously appointed Safari tents are the ultimate experience in glamping and will be completed shortly for our guests to enjoy.

Privately owned oasis on the edge of a National Park. Only 10 minutes from the Warrego and New England Highways! Peaceful surrounds and open fires create the perfect environment to unwind. Dogs and horses welcome.

How To Get There:
From Brisbane - Ipswich Road, Warrego highway to Helidon, right Postmans ridge road, right Murphy's Creek Road. Travel five kilometres to right turn Thomas Road, left under rail bridge (there is a 3.7 metre clearance), and travel three and a half kilometres to culvert destination.
From Toowoomba - Warrego Highway East, left Murphy's Creek Road, left at power station - Murphy's Creek Road, and five kilometres to right at Thomas Road, left under railway bridge, and travel three and a half kilometres to culvert destination.
From Highfields - New England Highway, left turn Murphy's Creek Road, travel 12 kilometres and left turn Thomas Road, left under railway bridge, and three and a half kilometres to destination.

Tariff Information:
Peak rates apply to all Queensland school and public holidays. Off Peak rates apply to all times other than school holidays and long weekends.
All prices are based on two people. Please contact operator for rates for Remote Camp Sites.
Extra adults (over 16 years of age) can be accommodated for AUD8.00 per person per night, or AUD48.00 per person per week during Off Peak times, or AUD56.00 per person per week during Peak times.
Children (aged four to 15 years of age) can be accommodated for AUD5.00 per child per night, or AUD30.00 per child per week.
Dogs can be accommodated for AUD2.50 per dog per night, or AUD12.50 per dog per week during Off Peak times, or AUD15.00 per dog per week during Peak times.
