Mercure Cairns Harbourside is located in between Cairns Airport and the central business district overlooking Trinity Bay at the northern end of the Esplanade.

The hotel offers 173 large hotel rooms and suites all with en suite and balcony. The view from the rooms overlooks the mountain range enclosing the city skyline or water magnificent views of Trinity Bay.

A leisurely 20 minute stroll into town along the esplanade foreshore development is now made easier with free shuttle transfers to and from the city every hour daily.

Mercure Cairns has two dining outlets that front the Esplanade and the sea. Teshi's serves a breakfast buffet daily from 6.00 a.m. for a light or full breakfast. Then Teshi's opens again in the evening with an a-la carte menu for dinner that focuses on the region's bounty of tropical produce. Blue Mango is the hotel's licensed cafe open from 10.00 a.m. until late everyday; serving drinks and a selection of bistro style snacks.

How To Get There:
The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle bus service to and from the city centre every hour from 10.00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m.
From Cairns Airport: (four kilometres) Follow Airport Avenue to the end and turn left onto Sheridan Street. Take the next left turn onto Moffat Street which turns into Lake Street. Drive four and a half blocks south along Lake Street, where Mercure Cairns Harbourside appears on the left hand side. If you see Cairns Base Hospital, you've gone too far.
From the south- Bruce Highway: The Bruce Highway driving into Cairns becomes Mulgrave Road. Follow this road for about five minutes then turn left onto Lake Street. Drive three blocks north along Lake Street, where Mercure Cairns Harbourside appears on the right hand side (just past the Cairns Base Hospital).
