The Winton Outback Motel is within walking distance to all the local attractions including the Matilda Centre, Royal Theatre and the historic Corfield and Fitzmaurice Store and excellent eating facilities. Why not extend your stay, pack your lunch, (or they can arrange one for you) and head off to Lark Quarry. Lark Quarry is famous for the worlds only known fossilised dinosaur stampede; they are housed in an acclimatised building to preserve them. You could also try your luck at opal fossicking at Opalton, population 15, last count. Who knows you might strike the big one!

General Comments
You might prefer to come back to the motel and throw a steak on the barbecue. After a delicious breakfast delivered to your room, you will be set to head out again. You've still got to see Arno's wall, which even includes the kitchen sink, the musical fence, Searles, and if you didn't find an opal, you can always buy one at the Sunset Opal Factory.

If you happen to come out by plane or bus, call the Motel and they will be happy to collect you. They have a vacant block of land next door to the motel for large vehicles or trailers.
Austar and wireless broadband is available free to their guests. Pets are allowed if given prior notice, but are not to be taken into the room. All rooms are strictly non smoking.
