Cancellation Policy
No cancellation fee if booking is cancelled eight days or more prior to arrival. One night cancellation fee if booking is cancelled seven days or less prior to arrival for all year round.
No refund in the event of a no show.
General Comments
Miami is a popular tourist destination with a magnificent beach and a Surf Lifesaving Club with children's playgrounds along the Esplanade. A highlight of the shopping in this area are the factory outlets found on the western side of the Gold Coast Highway. Enjoy a barbecue and the sheltered picnic areas. Miami provides a peaceful relaxing beachfront with plenty of shade provided by huge Norfolk Island Pines. Fish off the rocks or take a tranquil walk south to Burleigh or walk up the cliff to enjoy breathtaking views of the Gold Coast coast line.
Swimming and surf beaches are only 500 metres away. You will also find yourself in close proximity to tennis courts, the golf club, shops, restaurants and the iconic Miami Tavern - where locals go for live bands, meals and their famous Sunday sessions. Take advantage of the wonderful boutique shopping and cafes of Burleigh Heads or the Miami Shopping Centre is a mere 300 metres away. Only four kilometres to Jupiters Casino or six kilometres to Surfers Paradise.
How To Get There
Sunshine Beach Resort is situated on the old Coast Highway at Miami, 10 minutes drive from Surfers Paradise.
Travelling from Gold Coast Airport, head north up the highway. Sunshine Beach Resort is situated approximately one kilometre past the Miami Shopping Centre on the left hand side of the road.
Travelling from Surfers Paradise, head south along the highway. Sunshine Beach Resort is situated six kilometres along on the right hand side of the road. You will need to continue to the set of traffic lights at Miami to complete a u turn and access the property.
There is a bus stop 300 metres from the door and the Burleigh Heads bus from Surfers Paradise or the Pacific Fair/Surfers bus from Tweed Heads are the ones to catch. Gold Coast Airport is 14 kilometres away.

There is an AUD20.00 per person charge for extra persons. Cots and high chairs are available to hire at a rate of AUD50.00 per week each.

Recently refurbished, the Studio Rooms are very clean and tidy and have all the facilities you need. Microwave, television, iron and ironing board, air conditioning, heating, clock radio, guest laundry, and tea and coffee making facilities. The breakfast menu is available on check in.
