From Cairns Airport: (four kilometres)
Follow Airport Avenue to the end and turn left onto Sheridan Street. Take the next left turn onto Moffat Street which turns into Lake Street. Drive four and a half blocks south along Lake Street, where Mercure Cairns Harbourside appears on the left hand side. If you see Cairns Base Hospital, you've gone too far.
From the south- Bruce Highway:
The Bruce Highway driving into Cairns becomes Mulgrave Road. Follow this road for about five minutes then turn left onto Lake Street. Drive three blocks north along Lake Street, where Mercure Cairns Harbourside appears on the right hand side (just past the Cairns Base Hospital).
