The Matilda Motel is situated in the centre of town, opposite the Waltzing Matilda Centre and just a short walk to the shops, restaurants, hotels and local attractions.
You will enjoy your stay in comfort in this family-run motel. The air-conditioned rooms are quiet, clean and comfortable. With extensive renovations having just taken place and continuing until finished. (this will not effect any peace and quiet)
... morePlenty of safe off street parking is available for small and large vehicles with three entrance/exits for the larger vehicles to manoeuvre through.
Breakfast to your room is available. For an evening meal use the barbecue and pergola area or visit any of the hotels that are in a short walk from the motel which have restaurants. Or alternatively we have microwaves and toasters in your room.
Local tours to Lark Quarry, The Age of Dinosaurs Museum or Carisbrooke Station can be arranged at reception,
We offer courtesy pick ups from the airport or bus stop.

There is access for guests with a disability. One room is equipped for disabled guests and ramps allow ease of access.
Pets Allowed:
Yes. Pets are allowed; however, they must be kept under control and must not be a noise nuisance or danger to other guests. Pets are not allowed in the rooms. Guests must notify the booking staff of the presence of pets on arrival as a suitable room will be allocated where pet can be close by.
Cancellation Information:
Cancellation must be received 12 hours prior to expected arrival time, otherwise no refund will be paid.

Turn into Oondooroo Street from Main Street. Opposite the Post Office the Matilda Motel is located adjacent to the RSL Club and Bistro.

Units are air conditioned, clean, quiet and comfortable. All with ensuite, colour television, fridge and electric jug. Single, double and queen size beds with linen, blankets and spare pillows provided .Complimentary tea, coffee and milk. Breakfasts, chosen off the menu, are served to your room. Rooms can hold
from one to six people and children are welcome. Business agents requiring charge back to motel room for dinner can do so at the Bistro attached to RSL next door. A barbecue is available for guests and there is free use of washing machines and irons.
