St George is situated approximately 550 kilometres due west of Brisbane, and a great starting point for that outback adventure. General Comments
The property is within walking distance of the town centre and all rooms are set well back from the road, making for a quiet and peaceful stay. There are two extra parking areas suitable for small buses, large vans and boat trailers as well as six extra spaces for visitors.
How To Get There
If coming from Brisbane take the Warrego Highway through to Dalby, turn left at the road sign indicating Moonie, St George which is situated opposite Dalby State High School.
Stay on the Moonie Highway passing through Moonie and Westmar, continue for one more hour until the Carnarvon Highway. Turn left and St George is five kilometres. Turn left at the main intersection which is the Goondiwindi Road. The motel is 500 metres from the intersection on the right hand side. If coming from Northern New South Wales through Goondiwindi, stay on the highway. It is the first motel on the left as you drive into town.
