Description
Emu's Beach Resort is the only backpacker resort on the Capricorn Coast in Central Queensland. Emu's is situated directly across the road from one of the beautiful beaches that overlooks Great Keppel Island, which has enabled them to continued with the beach resort theme.
Emu's Beach Resort offers a relaxed atmosphere in beautiful surroundings. Along with their large, motel style rooms with balconies overlooking the swimming pool, they offer a large communal kitchen and an entertainment area, downstairs from the cheaper dormitory style rooms. Emu's is one of the only backpackers that boasts no bunk beds.

General Comments
Emu's Beach Resort is a budget resort suitable for Backpackers and families alike. With motel style rooms and dorm style rooms, everyone is comfortable at Emu's.
Emu's Beach Resort is a stop on the Greyhound circuit. Therefore, guests or travellers can book a Greyhound bus to and from Emus Beach Resort. The travel desk is also a Greyhound agent and the staff are happy to help with any travel requirement or queries.
For guests not travelling with Greyhound, Emu's offers a shuttle service to and from Rockhampton for AUD10.00 per person each way, and AUD20.00 from the airport.
Prebooking of this service is necessary.
How To Get There
Emu's Beach Resort is a Greyhound stop (the name is Emu Park), so you can book your Greyhound bus direct to the hostel. Alternatively, if you're travelling on a different method of transport, a shuttle bus is available. There is an AUD20.00 per person fee for airport pickups and AUD10.00 for bus and train station.
Guests travelling by car from the south can follow the signs from Rockhampton to Emu Park. Once in Emu Park, turn left at the roundabout, towards Yeppoon and travel for one kilometre. Emu's is on the right hand side, directly opposite the Emu Park Bowls Club.
Guests travelling by car from the north can follow the signs to Yeppoon. Once at the first roundabout in Yeppoon, turn right towards Emu Park. Travel for approximately 15 minutes and Emu's is on the main road into Emu Park, approximately one kilometre before the centre of town.
Tariff Text
Transfers from Rockhampton Bus Station, Train Station and Airport are free of charge if booking is for three or more nights.

Dormitory Room
Dormitory Rooms have a maximum of three beds in each room. All contain ceiling fans and linen is included. There are no bunk beds.
