Bestbrook Mountain Resort farm stay and horse riding offers you a traditional farm stay experience in an assortment of accommodation styles including nine fully self contained country cabins, village bunkhouses (backpacker style) and bush camping by Gap Creek for tents, camper trailers and vans.

Bestbrook is an Australian owned and operated family property where everyone joins in the fun. Horse riding is a specialty with pony rides for the children, lessons and trail rides. Most weekends there is free demonstrations of milking cows, separating milk, making butter, traditional Australian billy tea and damper (bread) making by Cyril or Bruce followed by a tour on the wagon, including whip cracking and boomerang throwing that everyone can try. Nestled among the rolling hills of the Great Dividing Range and straddling the Gap Creek, just a few minutes from the World Heritage listed Main Range National Park. Located a short 90 minute drive from Brisbane or the Gold Coast at Maryvale on the Southern Downs near Warwick Queensland,

They cater for weddings, corporate functions including team building retreats, school camps. You are welcome to bring your dog as long as it's controlled.

Pets Allowed:
Yes. Pets must be restrained on a lead/runner at all times (including in the camping area). You are required to pick up after them (dog faeces) and dispose of in an appropriate manner. Dogs are not allowed at the Coach House or around the animal yards. No animals are allowed in dwellings, only on or under verandah.

Cancellation Policy

A minimum three night stay applies Easter and long weekends

A minimum two night stay applies to all weekends and school holidays

One night bookings over these periods by application incur a AUD50 surcharge.

A deposit of 25 per cent of the total tariff is required on booking for each cabin.

A deposit equal to the first night tariff is required on booking for each campsite or village bunkhouse room

Deposits can be paid when booking online or by credit card, please supply details by phone or by EFT to CBA Warwick BSB: 064434 Account No: 10181871 Please use initial-surname and date of arrival as payment reference.

Refunds are granted if notification is given 28 days prior to check in - less an administration fee of 20 per cent.

Within 28 days deposits are held over for another booking date. A reschedule of dates must occur within three months of the original date.

14 days or less no deposit is refunded.

2 Bedroom Self-Contained Country Cottages

Enjoy relaxed country living in self-contained country cottages, with air-conditioning and a cosy wood fire for the crisp Winter evenings. Linen and towels are provided. A veranda to sit back and take in the view of some of the most spectacular country side to be seen.

Split Firewood is supplied for pot-bellied stove during winter. Wood, for outside fires and barbecue, is freely available around the property. Firelighters and matches are supplied.

Extra blankets available from reception. All toilet facilities run on septic tanks. Filtered drinking water is supplied for your convenience. Tap water is suitable for cooking and hot drinks. Television reception is non existent. DVDs and videos are available at Reception.

Village Bunkhouse

Village Bunkhouse accommodation available for school groups, sporting groups or social groups. Bunkhouse accommodation, four blocks of dormitory style units with one bunk bed and a single bed, electric heater per room, each block has showers and toilets. Sixty three people can be accommodated in the bunkhouse. Bring your own linen (pillow and sleeping bag) or linen can be provided at an additional cost.

The recreation room provides Bunkhouse guests with a lounging area (television, DVD and video recorder) and toilet facilities and wood fire. Tea and coffee facilities and a fridge. No cooking facilities and no cooking permitted.

The beautiful tranquillity campground awaits you. It is suitable for tents, camper trailers, caravans and motor homes. Camping inclusions: use of hot showers (Village Bunkhouse), toilet facilities (Tranquillity and Village Bunkhouse), resort facilities and all free of charge activities.
