Hidden Valley Cabins is an Australian Tourism award winning eco friendly resort. They are Australia's first carbon neutral accommodation and tour company and operate on 100 per cent solar power. They are located one and half hours northwest of Townsville, near Running River on the western slope of the Paluma range in Queensland, Australia.

They're ideal for a relaxing holiday to recharge your batteries and experience the Australian outback tranquility. Hidden Valley is fast becoming a tourist destination that should not be missed. While you're in the area, take a guided platypus tour, nocturnal night walk or just enjoy the wallabies grazing and spot some very interesting birds.

There have been over 130 species of birds sighted in the Hidden Valley area so far. The climate is another great feature of the area. It is usually eight degrees cooler than the coast in summer and the ideal place to sit by woodfires in the winter. Whichever way you decide to get here, there is always an alternate way to leave. Enjoy the Paluma Range with its spectacular waterfalls, or visit Wallaman Falls just out of Ingham. There's something for everyone.

How To Get There:
If travelling from Townsville, head north on Bruce Highway towards Ingham. Turn left at 'Paluma Range National Park'. Follow signs to Paluma. 24 kilometres past Paluma is Hidden Valley cabins (stick to main road). Turn right at sign 'Hidden Valley Cabins'. It is approximately a one hour 30 minute trip.
If travelling the Hervey's Range Road, follow Hervey's Range Road from Townsville. Go past Star River bridge and turn right onto Laroona Road (at the sign on highway to Hidden Valley). Turn right at Ewan junction to Hidden Valley. Drive through Hidden Valley Community and turn left after bridge to Hidden Valley Cabins. It is approximately a two hour 30 minute trip.
