Mallow Cottage opened in April 2011 as self contained accommodation on the Granite Belt in South East Queensland. It is located on a certified organic farm, just 19 kilometres from Stanthorpe. The cottage has been recently renovated using, where possible, sustainable or salvaged materials and furnishings. It is warm, welcoming, tastefully decorated and in keeping with their philosophy of creating a 'lighter footprint' on the environment.

Mallow has many features for you to enjoy during your stay. The dam on Mallow is a short walk from the cottage and has a canoe.
Within a 20 minute drive of Mallow Cottage are quality wineries, restaurants, cafes' and food producers - cheese, olives, berries, fruit, and more. The operators are also food producers - of certified organic lamb. You can try their tasty tender lamb in their organic hamper breakfast or order a bulk pack of lamb to take home. They supply several local restaurants and outlets.

General Comments
Mallow cottage is a three bedroom cottage with two bathrooms. You can book just one bedroom or the whole cottage. Organic breakfast hampers and wine and cheese hampers are available on request.
The location is quiet and peaceful with beautiful views in either direction.
Enjoy just sitting on the verandah listening to the birdlife or go walking on one of several walk tracks and take in the bush. This is a working farm and you may see lambs happily grazing on their organic pasture.
Mallow Cottage makes an ideal health and wellbeing retreat for a small group. They can arrange a program suited to your group needs - including yoga, massage and meditation.
How To Get There
Allow about two hours from Toowoomba and three hours from Brisbane. Exit off the New England Highway into Stanthorpe. Look for the large green Texas Road sign on the left, but turn right into Conner Street which takes you onto Texas Road. Travel 19 kilometres west, on a good bitumen road, for about 15 minutes. The cottage entrance is on the left on Texas Road at 1929 and is well signed.
Mallow Cottage
Mallow Cottage has three bedrooms with two queen beds, and one twin. There is one ensuite bathroom and one full sized bathroom with bath and separate shower. It is ideal for couples, families or groups. Accommodation includes use of canoe, books, DVDs, CDs, games, complimentary range of teas and plunger coffee.
