Description
Lee Farmstay is a 64 hectare property situated 15 kilometres north east of Kingaroy in Queensland. The farm consists of a few acres of cultivation with the rest of the land being pasture; home to many animals and birds. They have four newly built two-bedroom cottages on the property and a three bedroom Queenslander. All four cottages and the Queenslander are very spacious, peaceful and relaxing. You can hear sounds of birds early in the morning and in the afternoon, and the property welcomes everyone; singles, couples, family or group, honeymooners as well as pets (conditions apply, please contact the operator). They can accommodate up to 26 people in beds and, if required, six sofa beds are available to accommodate another 12 people.
... moreGuests, especially the little ones, are welcome to participate in daily activities like feeding the animals, birds and collecting eggs. There is also bushwalking in a nearby bush track, running or walking around the six kilometre block. Pushbikes from training wheels to adults are available, plus swings, or children can also play on the hay stacks or with the dogs; three West Highland white terriers, Killer, Molly and Cherrie. They will all welcome you when you arrive!

Entity Facilities
A wood heater can be used in winter and/or reverse cycle air conditioning in summer. An inground swimming pool and trampoline are available which is excellent to lie on and relax under the clear night sky and view the stars. An undercover barbecue area with table and chairs and fridge each in between the two cottages are ideal for outside meals; especially for family or group catch ups.
General Comments
All guests are welcome to see and experience what is available on the property. Feel free.
The Farmstay is close to award winning wineries, cheese factory, cellar doors and famous restaurants, the Bunya Mountains and many other places of interest. A basket breakfast can be provided on request. The four cottages can accommodate up to 24 people and the Queenslander can also accommodate up to 12 people. The Queenslander has it's own private barbecue and three metre by 20 metre verandah.
How To Get There
From Kingaroy town drive towards Wondai on the main highway about four kilometres. A Lee Farmstay sign on the left and right opposite turn to Booie-Crawford Road. Follow the main road for about nine kilometres until you get to Faugnan's Road with 'farmstay cottages' sign under it, turn left there until you come to a T-section. Harchs Road, again with 'farmstay cottages' sign under it, turn right and Lee Farmstay are down the bottom of the hill with a Lee

From Visitors Information Centre, Haly Street, follow towards Swickers, then down bottom of Booie range turn left to North Branch Road, with 'farmstay cottages' sign under it. Then you come to a T-intersection Booie-Crawford Road, turn left, go about 200 yards to Faugnans Road, and turn right.
Cottages
Each two bedroom cottage has one queen size bed complete with extra pillows and two king-singles in the second bedroom plus a sofa bed in the lounge for extra guests.

Queenslander
The Queenslander has one queen room with a sliding door out to the veranda and its own toilet. The bathroom has a two person spa bath with shower over is to be shared with the third room. The third room has two double bunk beds, own television also own toilet. The second room is the king room with an ensuite. There are two sofa lounges. All with extra pillows. Linen and towels provided. Big plasma television, DVD, Wood heater in the living area. Remote controlled air conditioning in every room. Kitchen is FSC with big fridge/freezer, Upright stove with an oven, etc. Private barbecue on the veranda.
