How To Get There
Barking Owl Retreat is located at 409 Hough Road, Kairi. Travel from Cairns to the Atherton Tablelands either through Kuranda Range or Gillies Range (both similar distance).
If travelling via Kuranda Range and coming from Tolga. Head towards Kairi on Tolga-Kairi Road, then turn left on to Hough Road, 500 metres prior to Stockman's Hall of Hay.
If travelling via Gillies Range travel through Yungaburra and follow maps towards Kairi, turn left on to Tolga-Kairi Road, and then turn right on to Hough Road, about 500 metres past Stockman's Hall of Hay.
Follow Hough Road four kilometres to the end (as they are the last property) look for Rural Number 409 at the left of the gates.

Newly renovated cottage interior decor resembles the colors of the Barking Owl, and has modern amenities and country touches to make you feel at home. ""Owl's Hollow"" has views across the paddock to the cattle yards with a mountain back drop and nestled beside native bushland where the resident Barking Owls reside.
Open plan cottage with queen size bed, double inner spring sofa bed, large bathroom with double spa, separate fully self-contained kitchen, undercover carport, and private deck. The cottages are ideally suited to couples, but sleep a maximum of four guests. All linen is provided including extra Mink blankets, firm latex and super soft feather-like pillows.
Also included: heated rooms, 26 inch LCD television, DVD player, DVD's, dishwasher, ironing facilities, Weber barbecue and laundry available.
