Children are welcome at the Emeraldene Inn, and with two acres of fenced gardens, set well away from road frontage, they have plenty of room to explore in safe surrounds. Bunk beds are available in the Family Apartments. Cots and trundles are available in the Deluxe Suites for extra children (extra charge). A huge, turfed pool area provides plenty of fenced space for children.

Disabled:
Two specially designed rooms are available for guests in wheelchairs, with disabilities, or the less mobile. They are self-contained, with free access bathroom, fold down shower seat, wheelchair friendly kitchenette with microwave, fridge, toaster and tea/coffee facilities. The rooms are designed to offer total independence; adjoining doors allow access to a second carer's room if desired (extra room charge applies).

Access Information:
Ample parking is available onsite. Extra parking is available if guests wish to leave vehicles whilst on tours - no charge. Very secure surrounds.

How To Get There:
The Emeraldene Inn and Eco-Lodge is the first accommodation as you enter Hervey Bay from Maryborough.
From Maryborough, turn right off Maryborough Road into Urraween Road, the first major cross section. The Emeraldene Inn is approximately 700 metres on the right, near to the Hervey Bay Hospital.
From town, head west on Main Street, then right onto Urraween Road. The Emeraldene Inn is approximately two kilometres on the left. Or head west on Nissen Street and then right onto Urraween Road.
From the airport, taxi (approximately AUD27.00), Limousine (AUD25.00 - ask the operator to arrange when booking) or shuttle bus (AUD12.00 per person).

Each of the Family Apartments are perfectly designed to comfortably accommodate a family with children. These rooms are a one bedroom apartment with a separate bedroom (queen bed), and a set of full size single bunk beds in the studio/living area for the children. (Extra trundle bed available). The rooms have a large, full kitchen, and ensuite bathroom, separate toilet, television/DVD, air-conditioning, fan and large balcony.
