Description

Just four and a half hours drive north of Brisbane you will find Dunelm House Bed and Breakfast, a restored cane farmer's residence located amongst the cane fields between Bundaberg and Bargara.

David and Penny provide a comfortable home away from home, all rooms are air-conditioned, and have queen size beds plus their own ensuite, the third room also has a single bed and can be used as a twin room.

A heated pool, television lounge, endless coffee and tea facilities and sumptuous full cooked breakfast (tea/coffee, juice, yoghurt, home made bread, fresh fruit, bacon, eggs, sausages, tomato and mushrooms) is provided for all guests.

Dunelm House is located only minutes from Mon Repos Turtle Sanctuary (open November to March), three golf courses, safe beaches and Bundaberg's many tourist attractions.

Yes. Dogs may be allowed by prior arrangement, however they are not allowed in the house. A large kennel is provided at the rear of the Bed and Breakfast.

Cancellation Information:
48 hours notice prior to date of arrival is required to cancel or the deposit will be forfeited.

No smoking inside. Guest rooms are on the first floor and your hosts live on the ground floor. Earlier check-in and late check-out is possible via arrangement.

How To Get There:
Courtesy transfers rail, bus and airport.
Self drive - leave Bruce Highway after Childers or at Gin Gin, travel to Bundaberg, and follow signs to Bargara. The Bed and Breakfast is two kilometres on the right after the "Port" roundabout. (Walker Street/Barbara Road intersection). They are three and a half kilometres on the Bundaberg/Bargara road after the roundabout. If you reach the Bargara State school you have gone 800 metres too far east.
