They have a pool, a well set up camp kitchen with hot and cold running water for washing up, two electric barbecues, tables and chairs and a communal fridge. Powered and non-powered sites are available and most sites have some shade. They sell ice and have bait available for those early morning fishing trips.

Enjoy a stay in this attractive and historic town which offers museums, botanical gardens and interpretive centre and reef and fishing trips and is close to many of the national parks in the Cape. These attractions together with a well stocked supermarket and a post office and bank make Cooktown a great place to stop.
