At the risk of spoiling a well kept secret and looking for a place to catch your breath try the Burrum Heads Hillcrest Caravan Park. Just up the road but a million miles away from the bright lights of Hervey Bay. The park is in a fantastic location with the river at your door step, fish on the bite and enough shops to keep you from starving, and a pub within walking distance, or take the courtesy bus. You can also have a game of tennis, cool off in the pool, have a barbecue and enjoy the spacious camping area.

How To Get There:
Turn off the Bruce Highway at Howard or Torbanlea (between Childers and Maryborough) and follow signs to Burrum Heads. After the hotel turn left onto Ross Street, then take the third left into Howard Street.
