Gilbert Park Tourist Village lets you experience the unique and colourful outback theatrics of the town of Cloncurry. During peak season you can experience local entertainment. You'll spot resident wildlife and set up camp on our powered sites or choose a cabin instead. A pre-sunset walk will take you to the spectacular sight of Sunset Rock. Events like the Rodeo and the Camp Draft show you the best of Australian horsemanship. There is fossicking for garnets and minerals and exploring the Flying Doctor Legacy that John Flynn has left behind. Enjoy a quiet, relaxed stay in a friendly environment at the Gilbert Park Tourist Village. The park is situated on the highway east of town with wide drive through sites and grassed camper trailer sites. Modern self contained ensuite cabins offer comfortable accommodation for couples and families. Do a self guided tour of the town and surrounds and be there in early August for the action of the Cloncurry Merry Muster Rodeo.
