Disabled:
One Superior Ensuite Villa has been specifically designed for wheelchair access with regards to doorways and size of rooms. The bathroom has also been specifically designed for wheelchair usage with adjustable shower rose and seat. Disabled facilities are also available in the amenities block for both men and ladies.

Cancellation Information:
A refund of a deposit or fully paid accommodation will be made if sufficient notice is given to Park management either by telephone or email. 72 hours is considered sufficient notice for a full refund of deposit.
For bookings during Queensland school holidays, Easter, Christmas/New Year and High Season (1 June to 30 September) 30 days notice must be given. For cancellations within 30 days the amount paid will be retained and in the event that the booking is able to be resold the amount paid will be refunded. Where a cancellation is necessary all concerns are dealt with fairly and on a personal level by park management.

Other Facilities:
All Villa and Cottage style accommodation has linen provided to all beds, Austar and are airconditioned.
An internet kiosk is available.

Further Details:
BIG4 Atherton Woodlands Tourist Park is a quiet, peaceful park backing onto the state forest. The Park is well known for its bird life and is visited by many avid bird watchers with many species of bird found in the Park. Butterflies flitter and flutter through the gardens and a family of bush wallabies also call BIG4 Atherton Woodlands Tourist Park home. During the wet season, platypuses come to visit.
Warm and friendly hospitality awaits, while you enjoy a cooler climate and nature's magnificence.

BIG4 Atherton Woodlands Tourist Park is an accredited park with CRVA and has achieved the environmental status of Bronze Gumnut.

Bunk Beds: Where double bunk beds are used, the operator advises that bunk beds can be dangerous for children under 12 years of age and they ask parents and carers to take extreme care if using a top bunk bed and do not allow children to use bunk beds as play equipment.

How To Get There:
Driving directions: From Cairns, take the Kennedy Highway to the Tablelands, via the Kuranda Range through to Atherton, arriving in the main street. Drive through "Main Street" (as it is named) of Atherton. At second roundabout (next to visitor information centre) continue straight ahead one and a half kilometres on Herberton Road, just past the Chinese Temple on the right hand side of the street.

The Ensuite Villas are reverse cycle air conditioned and modern in design. They are fully self contained with all cooking facilities including benchtop cooktop and microwave, ensuite bathroom including hair dryer, iron, couch and colour television with AUSTAR. Bunks are situated in the lounge/living area with curtain off. All linen is provided on all beds.

Sleeping up to two people, the Ensuite Cottage is available in two options, either with the main bedroom in its own room or in a more open plan style with a double bed (linen supplied). The Ensuite Cottages are reverse cycle air conditioned with cooking facilities, ensuite bathroom including hair dryer, iron, sofa in the lounge area and television with Austar. All have undercover parking and balconies which overlook the pool.

The Ensuite Family Villas are two bedroom with reverse cycle air conditioning and are modern in design. They are fully self-contained with all cooking facilities including bench top cook top and microwave, ensuite bathroom including hair dryer. An iron and ironing board are provided. In the lounge area are the sofa and colour television with Austar and a DVD player. The main bedroom has a queen bed and the second bedroom has one set of bunks. All linen is provided on all beds. These Villas also have a sofa bed available so that the villa may sleep up to six on request.
