AAOK Moondarra Caravan Park Mount Isa is a quiet, friendly, spacious, riverside caravan park with large drive through sites and self-contained airconditioned cabins. The caravan park is shady, and located on the Leichhardt River next to a sanctuary, and has many native birds and animals. AAOK Moondarra Caravan Park Mount Isa is the closest accommodation to Lake Moondarra where you can fish for barramundi, and offers tour bookings for all Xstrata and mine tours. In August every year Mount Isa hosts the Xstrata Mount Isa Rodeo.

Disabled: There is access for guests with a disability. There are no specific wheelchair friendly facilities. However, there is one unisex mobility assisted shower and toilet in the caravan park.

There is a 10.00 p.m. noise curfew.
Bookings are essential during August each year as this is when the Mount Isa Rodeo is held.
AAOK Moondarra Caravan Park is located four kilometres on the Camooweal side of Mount Isa (west) along the Barkly Highway. Turn into Lake Moondarra Road at the Lake Moondarra sign. The park is just over the causeway.
Higher rates may apply in peak Rodeo or other times.
