Charleville Bush Caravan Park and Cottage are for non-smokers only. The property is owned by Graham and Debbie Reid, owners of Travel West Outback Tours, who operate Motel Accommodated 4WD Tag Along Tours to Birdsville, Innamincka and around the Corner Country. They also specialise in four wheel drive tours for two guests to cross the Simpson Desert and visit Carnarvon Gorge. Travel West also offers a special experience by air to see Central Australia and the Kimberley from Brisbane. Check web site for details. Travel West Tours cater for non-smokers only.

How To Get There:
Two hour flight from Brisbane to Charleville. Rental cars available via Budget and Avis. Eight hours drive from Brisbane along Warrego Highway to Charleville. Travel out over the Warrego River and take the first road on your left to Quilpie (also known as Frawley Street). Charleville Bush Caravan Park and Cottage is a kilometre and a half from this turnoff on the right hand side with two very large white gates with horseshoes and little old caravan at the entrance. Come down the long driveway - park and cottage are 500 metres from the main road.

Charleville Bush Cottage is set on 62 acres and just two kilometres from the heart of town, provides guests with a beautiful quiet place set amongst trees to park up for a night or longer. The modern cottage is fully self-contained with 1 Queen size bed, 2-seater lounge, flat screen television, full kitchen including dishwasher, dining area, spacious bathroom and laundry facilities. Back patio with furniture, electric barbecue and campfire area.

The daily "Check Out Charleville" Town Tour (May - September) departs just before 9am and in two hours you will hear all about the Heritage buildings, the floods and other stories about town. Pay only AUD10.00 per person for this tour when you stay at Charleville Bush Cottage.
