Billabong Bed and Breakfast at Holloways Beach, Cairns is set on an island surrounded by a two acre natural billabong (lagoon) stocked with fish, abundant birdlife and majestic waterlilies, and is only 10 minutes to Cairns. It is a birdwatcher and nature lover's retreat.

Totally secluded and private, Billabong Bed and Breakfast offers a unique experience in this little piece of paradise. Two tastefully decorated rooms with separate entrance, private deck overlooking the billabong, air conditioning, en-suite, and television, tea/coffee making facilities, refrigerator and ceiling fans. A full gourmet breakfast is served on the main deck overlooking the Billabong.

The local coastal beach and three alfresco restaurants are only a short walk. Billabong Bed and Breakfast is on the door step to The Great Barrier Reef, Wet Tropics Rainforest and five minutes by car to Skyrail/Scenic Train to Village of Kuranda.

Cancellation Information:
If cancellation is made within 10 to seven days of your arrival, 20 per cent of the deposit would be forfeited. If cancellation is made within six to two days of your arrival, 50 per cent of the deposit would be forfeited. If cancellation is made within 48 hours or a "no show", 100 per cent would be forfeited. If the room can be re-booked for the same time there would be no charge or if it was for a lesser time frame it would be pro-rata.

Further Details:
Whilst they understand unexpected things can happen, to avoid unforeseen circumstances they recommend travel insurance. Within 14 days: AUD30 administration/credit card charge fee. Within seven days: Incur a 50 per cent cancellation fee, minimum of one nights room rate. Within 24 hours or no show: 100 per cent of the booking tariff will be debited from the credit card account provided as security. They will give a full refund (less AUD30 administration and credit card charge fee) if your room is rebooked.

How To Get There:
Driving directions from the Airport - Airport Road until Captain Cook Highway, turn right (north) at Captain Cook Highway (Sheridan Street), travel five kilometres, and turn right at Holloways Beach round-a-bout. Turn left at Wistaria Street at the small roundabout and Caribbean Street is the second street on the right. On arrival at 30 Caribbean Street you will see a button under the Billabong Bed and Breakfast sign. Please press the button to open the electric gates and drive through to the house.
