The Valley House is situated in the beautiful Brisbane Hinterland with stunning views of Mount Glorious and D'Aguilar Ranges. The setting is semi-rural, on an acre of grounds with a tropical salt water swimming pool. It is an easy 30 minute drive to Brisbane and just over an hour each way to the Gold and Sunshine Coasts.

Samford Village, just five minutes drive away, is a very pretty town with lovely cafes, gift shops, displays by local artists and a famous pub. Dayboro is 20 minutes north with further rural attractions including an Antiques Shed, Ocean View Estate Winery, Rodeo and Town of Yesteryear. Mount Glorious and Brisbane Forest Park are just 'up the mountain' from Samford Valley with beautiful bush walking and bird watching to keep you relaxed in the cooler air. Golf is available just around the corner at the Samford Valley Golf Club, with further venues within a 15 minute drive. Horse riding and four wheel driving are also accessible locally.

How To Get There:
From Brisbane follow Samford Road through Ferny Grove (UBD Street Directory Tourist Route 9), over the range into Samford Village. At the roundabout follow the signs for Mount Glorious. After approximately three and a half kilometres, turn right into Mount O'Reilly Road. Follow Mount O'Reilly Road round for just over a kilometre where the road bends sharply to the right. Westwood Drive is the left turning on the bend and The Valley House is the first house on the left. Guest parking is in front of the main entrance.

Private Wing

Surrounded by the D'Aguilar Ranges, the accommodation comprises of a stylish self-contained wing of the house including two bedrooms, lounge, bathroom and separate toilet. The verandah is fitted with an outdoor kitchen with a two burner hob, washing machine, fridge/freezer and barbecue. In addition there is a good sized new covered patio area with table and chairs overlooking the inground tropical swimming pool.
