Rose Gums Wilderness Retreat is 230 acres of pure paradise situated just ten minutes from Lake Eacham in the Cairns Highlands. The treehouses sit in elevated rainforest surroundings looking out over Wooroonooran National Park. All luxurious pole and timber treehouses are totally private and feature large spas, cosy fireplaces and balconies with stunning mountain views.

There are pristine rainforest streams to explore, nine kilometres of walking tracks and abundant bird life with over 160 species recorded. Guided bird watching is available. A complimentary breakfast hamper is also included. This cool tropical mountain retreat offers peace and relaxation and with its eastern outlook, guests are rewarded with fabulous moon and sun rises over the mountains. They are ideal for the romantic hideaway or the family holiday.

Notice of 14 days required to receive full refund of deposit. If the treehouse is subsequently rebooked, full refunds will be given. Deposits of first night's tariff required over the Christmas and Easter holidays. Credit card details required to secure a booking with AUD100.00 deposit.

Further Details:
The private treehouses are situated on their own in the rainforest with no sign of another treehouse or civilisation at all and feature spa baths, fire places and self-contained kitchens. There are over nine kilometres of walking tracks, a large rainforest creek (platypus habitat), waterfall and full size tennis court. A breakfast hamper is included and all water comes from the rainforest spring. Suitable for couples or families. Dining is available in the restaurant on Saturday evenings. Over 160 species of birds recorded with bird tours available. Within a 30 minute drive are all the major natural attractions of the area.

How To Get There:
Rose Gums is on the Cairns Highlands just 80 minutes from the Cairns Airport. Access is by the Kennedy Highway via Kuranda or the Gillies Highway via Gordonvale. The property is just 10 minutes from Lake Eacham, a volcanic creater lake, and borders the Wooroonooran National Park.
