Spectacular coastal views, a tranquil environment and luxurious villas, are just some of the attractions of the exclusive Peppers Ruffles Lodge and Spa. Perched high on a ridge in the Gold Coast hinterland, you feel a million miles away, yet it is only eight minutes from the motorway and five kilometres from Dreamworld.

This unique and indulgent retreat is set on 50 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens and surrounding eucalypt forest. Walk the gardens or the one kilometre track surrounding the lodge and enjoy the ever-changing moods of nature. You could fine tune your golf on the 85 metre par three practice area and enjoy the 19 metre heated pool and therapeutic spa.

The Peppers Ruffles experience is not complete without enjoying one of our blissfull day spa treatments or packages with qualified therapists. They range from two to four and a half hours of pure pampering. Try the bath soak ritual or start your treatments with a session in the infrared sauna or steamroom.

If you enjoy the finer things in life, you'll appreciate the a la carte dinner prepared by award winning Executive Chef Steve Houghton. All rates are inclusive of a full breakfast and evening turndown service.

Further Details:
The poolside bar opens from 6.00 p.m. and offers cocktails, premium beers and quality wines. These may be enjoyed by the pool, in the garden terrace or by the fire place, depending on the mood and the weather. Dining commences at 7.00 p.m. and the views from the restaurant are spectacular. An a la carte dinner is available with a special price if you have all three courses. Executive Chef Steve Houghton is passionate about good food and supplies of fresh produce are chosen from far and wide to ensure top quality.

Hotel Pick-up:
Transfers are available with prior arrangement. Free transfers if staying three days or more.

How To Get There:
From the Coolangatta Airport: from the airport you head north towards Brisbane on the Pacific Highway. The drive is about 40 minutes, once you pass Helensvale and see Wet and Wild and Movie World on your left you take the next exit which is number 57 (Oxenford and Mount Tamborine). Stay on the left side of the highway and turn right into Old Brisbane Road. From there follow the map to Reserve Road and Baileys Mountain Road. The Lodge is at the end of Ruffles Road. Use the phone at the gate to obtain access.

From the Brisbane Airport: from the airport follow the signs to the Gold Coast. After crossing the Gateway Bridge continue on the Gateway Motorway where it joins the Pacific Motorway. The drive is about 45 minutes. Once you pass Yatala look for exit number 49 (Pimpama and Jacobs Well). Cross the motorway following the signs for Willow Vale then use the map from Rifle Range Road to Hotham Creek Road. The lodge is at the end of Ruffles Road. Use the phone at the gate to obtain access.

Garden Villa

Garden Villas are separate to the main lodge with Villa one and two each separated by a porch and Villa three stands alone. All have 180 degree views across the rural land of the Gold Coast Hinterland, to the Broadwater and ocean beyond. The Coomera River meanders from behind hills to the south into the foreground where it joins the Broadwater. The high-rise buildings of Surfers Paradise can clearly be seen to the south and at dusk the skyline becomes a panorama of lights.

The interior design of the lodges is one of style and warmth with beautiful aged timbers used throughout. Each has its own covered deck and the bathrooms are large and well appointed. Beds are king size, (single beds also provided).

Executive Suite

The Executive Suite situated at the northern end of the Lodge with spectacular views from the living room to the coast and a northerly aspect across the valley from the spacious bedroom. The overall size of the suite is 86 square metres. The suite also has it's own private garden. The bedroom has a King size bed, television, large deck with comfortable outdoor furniture and the beautifully appointed bathroom has a spa bath.

High timber ceilings, glass sliding doors, timber louvres, aged timber flooring, overhead fans.

Like the bedroom, the living room is air conditioned and for your winter comfort, there is a wood fire. There is a plasma screen television, DVD and sound

system, and as in the villas there is a high speed internet connection.

Chums' Spa Villas

Chums' is the only two storey accommodation at Ruffles and is affectionately known as ""Chums' Up"" and ""Down"". Chums Up has a large deck area with a day bed and has filtered views to the coast and valley to the north. The outlook over the large gardens is pleasant and gives a feeling of peace. To maximize the outlook from Chums Down they have included sliding glass doors and patios on both sides. They are both 63 square metres and have sunny northerly aspects. Up has a Queen size bed and Down a King and spacious bathrooms with double Spas. The living areas are equipped with log gas fires for winter comfort and 42 inch Plasma televisions and sound systems, and wireless internet connections.

Treehouse Pool Villa

These three new Villas are situated 200 metres from the main Lodge and are built into the side of the hill, ""pole house"" style. There are breathtaking views from the plunge pool and two decks. Attached to each Villa is undercover parking and a place for the golf buggy, which can be used to move between the Villa and the Lodge. The bedroom is on a mezzanine level, two steps below is the living area leading to the deck and pool areas. The bathroom with its free-standing Spa bath also has spectacular views. For winter comfort and atmosphere each Villa has a Log fire and air-conditioning. They have a total area of 61 square metres not including the decks or pool.
