Oaklea is a 300 acre working farm east of Killarney in the majestic mountains of the Scenic Rim. Picturesque, peaceful, and cooler than the lowlands due to our elevation, they are seemingly closer to the stars at night!
Their garden is shaded by 100 year old Oak trees, under which they have planted camellias, azaleas and rhododendrons. The property has a significant stand of remnant rainforest and eucalypt forest, ideal for a quiet walk.

Close to the Main Range National Park and Queen Mary Falls, they are ideally located between Boonah and Killarney for sightseeing, bushwalking, photography, bird watching, mountain biking, or just plain relaxation. Comfortable accommodation is available in two self contained cottages sleeping up to seven, or in the homestead itself.

How To Get There
From Boonah: Take Boonah/Rathdowney Road from Boonah. Turn right after 14 kilometres and follow Tourist Drive 21 signs. At the junction of Spring Creek Road and Condamine River Road at The Head (47 kilometres from Boonah) take Condamine River Road. Oaklea is one kilometre along Condamine River Road
From Killarney: Follow the signs to Queen Mary Falls. Continue a further 15 kilometres past Queen Mary Falls to the intersection of Spring Creek Road and Condamine River Road, a total of 26 kilometres from Killarney. Take Condamine River Road and Oaklea is one km from the intersection, at 1966 Condamine River Road.
School Cottage
The School Cottage is spacious studio accommodation ideal for a couple but comfortable for up to four guests. From verandahs at front and back you can relax in comfort with a good book from their selection, or take in the views, in the company of the cows in the surrounding paddocks.

Mill Cottage
The Mill Cottage accommodates six or seven comfortably in three bedrooms. The large central living room is comfortably furnished with ample seating and a wood fire for cooler nights. Be transported back to your grandmother's kitchen! Enjoy a barbecue under cover. Cottages both have television, DVD, CD player, fridge,freezer, full cooking facilities, books and magazines.
