Henderson Park is approximately 14 kilometres off the highway and 10 to 15 minute drive.
Turn left off the highway across railway tracks into township of The Caves. Country pub and convenience store on your right. Continue past these and turn right onto Barmoya Road in front of The Caves State School. Approximately 50 metres up on Barmoya Road there is a large Henderson Park Farm Retreat Sign. Follow the bitumen road over a small range. Approximately two kilometres after the bitumen turns to gravel there is an intersection. Turn right here to stay on Barmoya Road. After five kilometres you will meet a T-junction with a yellow Henderson Park sign indicating you to the left, Rockhampton to the right. Turn left here, follow the road up and enter the property at the large white wooden rails with a sign saying Henderson Park. Follow the signs into the main house, where you will be met by the property owner and taken to your accommodation.
Coming from the south (Hervey Bay, Bundaberg, Brisbane)
Henderson Park is approximately 14 kilometres off the highway and 10 to 15 minute drive.
Follow highway north through township of Rockhampton. On the northern side of Rockhampton the highway turns back to a 100 kilometre per hour zone and approximately two kilometres past this there is a turning lane to the right for Greenlake Road (East Barmoya). Approximately 50 metres along Greenlake Road there is a large Henderson Park Farm Retreat Sign. Follow the bitumen road for approximately seven kilometres and turn left where signed to stay on Greenlake Road. The gravel road continues for another approximately eight kilometres and Henderson Park is at the end of it. Follow the yellow directional Henderson Park signs up and enter the property at the large white wooden rails with a sign saying Henderson Park. Follow the signs into the main house, where you will be met by the property owner and taken to your accommodation.
Guests can come in one way off the highway and depart the other to save approximately 15 minutes travel time and to see different scenery.
