Description

Cow Bay Homestay Bed and Breakfast is located north of the Daintree River in Cow Bay, and adjacent to the two world heritage areas, the Daintree Rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef.

Two guest rooms with ensuites offer great views into tropical gardens and rainforests as you wake up each morning to the surrounding nature. During your visit you may relax on the cool veranda or on the timber deck spotting birds, stars, butterflies, swim in the fresh water creek, enjoy self guided walks along the creek and in the rainforest on the property.

Plenty of self guided activities in the area and you can enjoy the large range of locally guided tours offering walks, sea kayaking, horse riding, fruit tasting, Four Wheel Drive, snorkelling, and jungle 'surfing'.

Great breakfasts. Marion speaks German and can arrange all your tour bookings for you.

Arriving by ferry, you enter the green world of the Daintree Rainforest. You can also enter the blue world of the Coral Sea and underwater wonders of the reef. Feel the jungle and see the reef.
Extra persons are charged at AUD50.00 per person, per night. Children under five years stay free.

How To Get There:
Drive north from Cairns to Mossman for one hour, then follow the signs to Cape Tribulation/Daintree River Ferry and after 20 minutes turn right at Cow Bay. Five kilometres down the road turn right into Wattle Close - total travel time is two hours from Cairns.
