Cedar Glen has been in the Stephen's family since 1882, and they've been hosting visitors to the farm for over 30 years. Located just 90 minutes from Brisbane or the Gold Coast in the beautiful Lost World Valley, this spectacular 1050 acre property is home to beef cattle, Arabian horses, milking cows, sheep, pigs, kangaroos and poultry.

Guests can stay in the original 1901 homestead, or choose one of three historic cottages which have been renovated to maintain the charm and authenticity of a bygone era. All buildings are surrounded by wide verandas perfect for soaking up the country views and self catering or fully-catered packages are available.

Entity Facilities
Fully-catered guests enjoy hot and cold breakfast, hosted picnic lunch and two course dinner daily.
Self-catered guests can join for one-off meals with adequate prior notice. Bring your own alcohol for property dining.
All rates include accommodation, linen and morning and afternoon animal feeding, egg collecting and cow milking.
Horse riding, boomerang throwing, whip cracking and sunset four wheel drive tours are available at an additional cost.
General Comments
For self catering weekend and long weekends only, accommodation must be booked for two and three nights respectively.

The Stephens family has worked the property for over 100 years and it's steeped in history and family tradition. The 420-hectare farm carries 300 to 400 beef cattle, and breeds Arabian horses, some of which are used for cattle mustering and horse riding for farmstay guests.
How To Get There
Drive to Beaudesert on the Mount Lindsay Highway from Brisbane or through Canungra from Gold Coast. From Beaudesert travel 34 kilometres on Kerry Road. There is a red mailbox on the right with the name of Cedar Glen. Directions can be faxed or emailed on request, and are also available from the website.

All tariffs are on a per person rate. All linen is included.
Two Bedroom Wallaby Cottage has a minimum charge of AUD295.00 per night for rental of the house.
Four Bedroom Dairy House has a minimum charge of AUD495.00 per night for rental of the house.
Two Bedroom Stinson Cottage has a minimum charge of AUD330.00 per night for rental of the house.
A minimum two night stay is required at most times. A minimum three night stay is required on long weekends.
All rates include accommodation, linen and morning and afternoon animal feeding, egg collecting and cow milking.
Guests in the cottages can opt for self-catered or fully-catered option.
Cedar Glen Homestead houses fully-catered guests only at AUD165.00 per adult per night and AUD70.00 per child per night.
Cedar Glen Homestead
This is the original historic homestead built in 1901. It has large bed rooms with high ceilings and a large open high verandah with spectacular views of the surrounding property.
The Cedar Glen Homestead package includes all meals, accommodation, farm activities, hosted picnics. There are other activities such as horse riding available at an additional cost.
Four bedrooms, two bathrooms and two toilets. Beds consist of both double and single per room.

Wallaby Cottage is a 1900s Cottage relocated to Cedar Glen. It is suitable for fully catered or self catering guests, being fully equipped with cooking and eating facilities. There is accommodation for up to seven people. There is wood combustion heating for the winter, and air conditioning for the summer and winter. Sheets and towels are provided.
