Being located in the heart of the central business district, Auckland Hill Bed and Breakfast provides easy access to restaurants, banks, medical facilities, shopping, as well as the marina, intrastate bus depot and railway. They are only minutes away from the airport and all major industry plants.
Auckland Hill Bed and Breakfast started operation in November 1998 after six months of extensive renovations providing a unique accommodation facility with good old fashioned service and hospitality, yet allowing guests complete privacy and total relaxation.
Auckland Hill Bed and Breakfast has won numerous state and regional awards. They also have an extensive eco-efficiency plan in place.
Over the years of operation the operators have continued to provide a warm and friendly atmosphere for all their guests which has created an alternate form of accommodation to corporate, local and overseas visitors alike.

Children: Children are welcome.
Disabled: Facilities are available for guests with a disability. Disabled access ramp to Guesthouse, full disabled bathroom, easy access to all of the Guesthouse and deck.
Miscellaneous:
Guests can access the property by driving through the side entrance via Oaka Lane, into the carpark. Transfers are easily arranged through the local taxi and limousine services.
If guests are unable to stay, 24 hours notification of cancellation is required prior to check in.
The Guesthouse has six large rooms, all with king size beds for personal comfort. The rooms have ensuites, private verandahs and air-conditioning. The property also has disabled facilities, with an easy access ramp in to the Guesthouse. Disabled guests can access all rooms and the deck. There is a large guest lounge room complete with television, videos, music and reading material. A large open deck provides guests with fresh evening breezes and a view of the harbour. A pool, barbecue, and undercover parking fulfill most guest requirements. 24 hour tea and coffee is provided, and a range of cold refreshments are available.
After 10.00 p.m. guests are required to keep noise levels low. Glass products are restricted from pool area. Children are required to be accompanied by an adult in the pool area.
Tariffs are set for the whole year regardless of holiday season. Rates include cooked breakfast.
Northern access turn left at Mount Larcom turnoff, follow signs to Gladstone. At Hansen Road go through first set of traffic lights, turn left into Yarroon Street and follow through to Goondoon Street, cross over in Goondoon and Yarroon intersection and first turn right into Oaka Lane, and first driveway on the left. Southern access turn left at second set of lights corner of Coon and Toolooa Streets, turn right into Auckland Street and follow through to Tank Street traffic lights, follow Auckland Street to corner of Auckland and Yarroon Street turn left, then first left into Oaka Lane, first left into their driveway.
Pets are not permitted on the property, however arrangements can be made for any pets travelling with you at the local pet resort.
