Bayside Holiday Apartments are a group of eight, one and two bedroom self-contained apartments situated on The Strand in the heart of Townsville. The Apartments all have beach views, with one bedroom apartments directly facing the beach and the two bedroom apartments with balconies affording you expansive beach views. Free Austar and Wi-Fi Internet access is provided. There is a minimum two night stay requirement, with a discount of 10 percent for a seven night stay.

The Strand is arguably one of the best inner city beachfronts anywhere in Australia and is over two kilometres of wide boulevard area showcasing tropical art, landscaping, swimming areas, picnic areas and playgrounds with magnificent views.

Along its length are dotted eateries of all types for takeaway or in-house dining, or a leisurely 30 minute stroll along the Strand will have you in the city restaurant and shopping precincts.

Cancellation Information:
Cancellations with more than 24 hours notice will attract a refund of the deposit less an administration fee of AUD20.00. If apartments are fully booked then a refund will occur if and when the Apartment is re-booked.

Airport Shuttle, taxis, buses, ferries and car hire can be booked through Bayside Apartments. There are numerous tours and trips available for those holiday makers wanting to explore the area more thoroughly, including to the reef, Magnetic Island, the Outback and Rainforest Hinterland. How To Get There:
When arriving in Townsville, take the road to The Strand. Bayside Apartments are located at the northern or Rockpool end of the Strand near the corner of Landsborough Street and The Strand.

2 Bedroom Apartment

The Two Bedroom Apartments have a queen bed in the main bedroom and either a queen or double bed in the second bedroom. Some of the Two Bedroom Apartments have two single beds in the second bedroom. There are also five apartments that have a lounge/sofa that converts to another bed. There is a bathroom, full kitchen, dining and lounge room in the Two Bedroom Apartments. This type of apartment also has a full length balcony overlooking The Strand with ocean views.
