Barney Creek Vineyard Cottages offer bed and breakfast accommodation in the Mount Barney region, an area of stunning mountain scenery. The Lakeside Bungalow and Hill Station are designed specifically for couples with a decor and attention to detail not often found. The Bungalow sits on the edge of a small lake in a world of its own. The Hill Station commands a ridge-top position with 360 degree views of the mountains of the Scenic Rim. Both are self contained with all modern conveniences but with an ambience that has to be experienced.

The three bedroom Garden Cottage offers a more family friendly venue and is also suitable for a get together with friends. The central feature of the living room is the piano.

Meals are available as hampers if you want a break from cooking, with much of the produce from the garden, and can be combined with their wines made from their own grapes. Wine tasting with an antipasto platter on Saturday afternoon is accompanied by much laughter and conversation.

National Park walks, swimming (pool or creek), fishing and wildlife abound.

How To Get There:
From Brisbane or the Gold Coast travel to Beaudesert and then continue south on the Mount Lindsay Highway to Rathdowney. Turn right after Rathdowney onto the Boonah/Rathdowney Road and travel for eight kilometres before turning left into Upper Logan Road. Follow Upper Logan Road for approximately eight kilometres and then turn right into Seidenspinner Road. Barney Creek Vineyard Cottages are 2.4 kilometres along this road.
If travelling from Ipswich or Warwick make your way to Boonah and take the Boonah/Rathdowney Road. Travel approximately 38 kilometres and turn right into Upper Logan Road. Follow Upper Logan Road for approximately eight kilometres and then turn right into Seidenspinner Road. Barney Creek Vineyard Cottages are 2.4 kilometres along this road.

Tariff Information:
Please note that a minimum stay of two nights applies on all weekends, and a minimum stay of three nights applies on all long weekends and four nights at Easter and Christmas.

Lakeside Bungalow

The Bungalow is self-contained with all cooking amenities including a barbecue on the verandah.

Creature comforts include spa bath, bathrobes, air conditioning, CD player, DVD, and LCD television (no television reception) with movie library and wood heater.

The Bungalow is situated on the edge of the lake with its own jetty extending off the verandah and views to Mount Barney and the vineyard right beside it.

The Hill Station

The Hill Station is self contained with all cooking facilities including a dishwasher. This 120 year old ex-railway station has been decorated in a style befitting the Orient Express, with beautiful mahogany furnishings including a four poster bed.

Other creature comforts include spa bath for two, bathrobes, compact disc player, DVD and LCD television (no television reception) with movie library. There is a front verandah with spectacular views of the Border Ranges and a back verandah with a barbecue and dining area, also with views of Mount

Maroon.

Sitting on the verandah with a cool drink and watching the sunset on Mount Barney and the changing colours of the surrounding peaks and hills is sublime.

The Garden Cottage

The self contained Garden Cottage offers comfort and room to move with three bedrooms containing two queen size beds and two single beds along with a generous living area.

The shingle roofed verandah accommodates outdoor dining and a barbecue. The spacious living room feature a piano, compact disc player, DVD with LCD television (no television reception) and a wood heater for chilly winter nights. Games, jigsaws and lots of books and magazines are supplied.
