The backpackers is located a short walk from the Fitzroy River, Central Business District, shops and restaurants. Situated in a garden area off the main street, the hostel has a relaxed and chilled out atmosphere.

Children are welcome in the family rooms accompanied by adults, but not in the dormitory accommodation.

How To Get There:
To get to Rockhampton Backpackers from the south, follow the Bruce Highway until you see McDonalds, turn right at McDonalds into Fitzroy Street. Continue over the bridge until the traffic lights, turn right onto Lakes Creek Road, then first left at the Vic Tavern onto little Musgrave Street just before the road meets the highway. Macfarlane Street is the last street on the right.
From the north, follow the signs for the city, look for Arnolds Advance Tyres on the left where the road forks off. Take that fork and the next left is Macfarlane Street.
